Quality Transmission Service is a local family owned and operated automatic and standard transmission repair business that was started in July 1977, by Bob Jones. The head builder, Steve Fullmer, has been a dedicated employee since 1980! We service Tempe Arizona and all surrounding areas, including Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Chandler, and Gilbert.
You can be assured that we will be here long after your repair is done to take care of any problems that may develop in the future.
We are proud that ALL of our employees have been certified by the Automatic Transmission Rebuilder’s Association. Our membership in ATRA allows us to offer a nationwide warranty even though we are not a “chain” repair facility.
All of our work is done on the premises. We do not have to “farm out” any of the transmissions that need major work which allows us to insure that all auto repair work we perform is done to our high standards.
At Quality Transmission, we do high quality diagnosis and repair, at a better price than most other transmission repair shops. We never do a transmission overhaul unless it’s absolutely required. Our normal hours of operation are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. For your convenience, you may call after hours and make an appointment by leaving your name, phone number, date, and time you desire on the recorder, or use this handy form. Vehicles can be dropped off after business hours in front of the shop and the keys placed inside the key drop box in the front block wall.
Of course, we accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Financing is also available. We do not take personal checks.
